I pass this fire hydrant everyday on my walk to the beach and I've never noticed the bumper sticker before. It's a myspace ad. myspace/onhiatus Clever, but I wonder how many people actually see it?

i walked to my favorite place to go...canaveral beach. this little pavilion is a great place to sit, think, write, and enjoy the ocean breezes. and yes, i've given myself the "cybill shepherd moonlighting treatment."

many, many buildings here are painted pink. my apartment building is no exception. this is the nice little area by the mailboxes.

we ordered take-out from the neighborhood pizzeria.

tropical storm hanna waves as she goes by. the 25+ foot tall swells brought out every surfer in the area. however the often 35mph winds kept them from getting out far enough to even attempt getting up on their boards. The beach is still badly eroded from ts fay and hanna didn't help.
